Hello, NTHS Advisors!

It’s that crazy-busy time of year, when your students are gearing up for graduation, participating in competitive events, taking tests, and etc. Lots of ETC. Trust us – We understand.

Here are a few tips on how to “remain calm, and NTHS on”:

Try inducting your seniors in the fall, and sophomores and juniors in the spring. Or, just have one big fall induction. The NTHS Jon H. Poteat scholarship will reopen on September 1^st, 2018, and will remain open until April 20, 2019. Encourage your members to apply!

Along these lines, don’t wait to induct members until right before graduation. Once their graduation date has passed, they will “roll” into NTHS Alumni status. We want to be sure your students have plenty of time to use their NTHS member benefits (letters of recommendation, scholarship opportunities, etc.).

Regarding graduation regalia – make sure your deserving NTHS members stand out at graduation! We have satin stoles, honor cords, graduation sets and medallions. All are located in the Graduation section of Shop NTHS at the top right of www.nths.org. Make sure you are logged in when ordering, so that you can use the purchase order option – we’ll invoice you with Net 30 terms.

If you have your members order their own items, make sure you tell them exactly what item and what color is required.

And, order both memberships and regalia in plenty of time to avoid those pesky and expensive UPS air shipping costs. The “date needed” field is the date you need the order in your hands. Please choose a date at least a week out from the day you place your order.
