Prepping Your Chapter for a New School Year

Can you believe it’s almost time for school to start again? And some Georgia schools were back in session yesterday. WOW – where has the time gone?! We don’t know about you, but we’re not quite ready for summer to end!

As we ease into a new school year, we want to offer some quick pointers to help you with your NTHS chapter.

• NTHS does not require purchase orders, but many schools do require advisors to use them. Please let us know if your school is required to use purchase orders for payment, and we will note your account accordingly. It will save a lot of headaches for both your bookkeepers, and ours!
• If your school has new advisors this year, please contact us with their names and email addresses. We strive to keep chapters up to date in our records, and want to make sure that all new advisors have what they need to work efficiently. You may contact Carol Kaczmarek or Renee Frady with any chapter updates.
• Remember to order your free promotional materials! We are in the process of updating our brochure and poster, but the info on the current ones is still relevant. Make sure that all CTE teachers and students at your school know you have an NTHS chapter, and promote it!
