Moss Paliath transferred to Pikesville High School in Baltimore during her sophomore year. She recalls feeling completely lost until she was placed in the Interactive Media Production (IMP) class.

“My passion and love for graphic design grew as I was introduced to NTHS by my teacher,” Moss said. “I was the first sophomore they let in. Eventually, I began working on projects with fellow members, attending and even running chapter meetings, and promoting membership. I had found my place. I was no longer lost. NTHS has given me so much that I can never fully give back.”

Moss was nominated by her teacher, Jessica Cone, who praised her commitment and leadership.

“Moss is the NTHS president and a leader in my IMP class. Without Moss, NTHS would not run as efficiently as it does today,” Cone shared.

Through NTHS, Moss has led and contributed to many graphic design campaigns for campus events and student achievement celebrations.

“NTHS has provided a safe, reliable, and educational environment for the members of my chapter, as well as for me,” Moss said. “We are given the space to create and be ourselves without the threat of judgment. It has allowed us to be our authentic selves and make our mark on the world.”

Moss lives with her parents, her college-aged sister, and their Yorkie-Bichon mix named Bear. Bear enjoys supervising her as she works on her latest graphic designs.
