Meet Andrea Verser, NTHS Co-Advisor, at the Canadian Valley Technology Center in Chickasha, Oklahoma.  Andrea has been involved with NTHS since 2015.

“CTE is important to me because CTE prepares students for success. As an instructional coach and a NTHS advisor I not only get to help students get a job, I share with them the academic and soft skills to keep a job. CTE allows students to make jobs their careers. I tell every student: once a CTE student, always a CTE student. I love education and watching students become successful,” said Verser.

“Andrea works tirelessly in her community and our school.  She is a huge advocate of NTHS and works hard to support students.  Every February, she helps gather and provides the CV Tech Marketing team with students’ success stories to support our NTHS social media marketing project.  NTHS at our school wouldn’t be the same without her,” says her colleague Sierra Campbell.

CVTC NTHS students attend the OK NTHS State Leadership Conference each fall. The Fall Leadership Conference allows students time to learn, lead, and follow. The NTHS students also have a service project leading up to the OK NTHS State Leadership Conference. The NTHS chapters across the state of Oklahoma come together to support the Toby Keith Foundation. The Toby Keith Foundation supports and operates OK Kids Korral, a home for children battling cancer. During the OK NTHS State Leadership Conference, NTHS members across the state learn the importance of the NTHS Core Four Objectives of service and leadership.

When Andrea is not leading by example, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She also enjoys community service, reading, and spending time outside.

Thank you, Andrea, for investing in your students at Canadian Valley Technology Center.
