Carol's Corner Remember: We’ve extended all 2020 graduates’ NTHS benefits out for another year past their graduation dates!
Your graduates can still log in to utilize their online benefits, request letters of recommendation, or apply for our Jon H. Poteat Scholarship, which just reopened on September 1st. You and your students may still see 2020 grad dates shown as 2021 in the system, and this is OK. This allows our members to access benefits for an additional year. What other resources would be most beneficial to you and your members? Please email Carol Kaczmarek, and let us know how we can help you have a successful NTHS chapter!

In 10 Minutes or Less The census provides critical data used to provide daily services, products, and support for you and your community. "Whether schools and postsecondary institutions will be able to open fully for the 2020-21 school year using social distancing methods, utilize a blended approach or continue with remote learning, there are significant implications for CTE programs, students and educators." "High-quality CTE: Planning for a COVID-19-impacted School Year is a guide for helping CTE stakeholders identify the key considerations, guiding questions and emerging best practices that should shape future planning. The guide is organized around the elements of ACTE’s Quality CTE Program of Study Framework to capture the breadth of issues important to maintaining CTE program quality within any of the possible educational environments being considered for the new school year."
