2020-2021 Answers for NTHS Success
Though many of our learning environments are in a state of flux, we are here to help you make sure that student success is a constant. We know you and your students have worked incredibly hard and we want to make sure that your students don’t go unrecognized and are celebrated for their excellence in CTE. Reach out at any time, we are here for you.

♦ What Students Qualify for NTHS Membership?
- National Standards: Any student enrolled in a CTE pathway or major who has a 3.0 GPA or higher (unweighted) in their CTE pathway and/or an overall 3.0 GPA (unweighted).
- Local Standards: You may add additional local standards such as attaining certifications, attendance, community service, etc. This is optional and not required for national membership.
Can I adjust my local standards due to COVID?
Yes, you can adapt or waive any of your local standards to ensure students meeting the national standards are able to join.
We know schools have had to get creative calculating GPAs and adjusting activities this year. We will support however your chapter may need to adjust requirements to continue to recognize your students with NTHS membership.
