All of us here at NTHS wanted to take a moment to tell you all how grateful we are to serve each and everyone of you. We are thankful that you all have chosen to pursue a pathway in Career & Technical Education that will help you become the leaders and the innovators; the builders and the game changers of tomorrow's workforce. We also realize that there are some incredible instructors that are coaching and teaching you every day. The response to the advisor of the month submissions last month was outstanding. During this season of thanks, we want to help you say "thank you" to those special instructors and NTHS advisors in your life.
For the rest of November, post a message, note or photo why you are thankful for your NTHS advisor and instructors on your social media with #NTHSThankful and or share your stories directly with us so we can help recognize them nationwide.

This new partnership provides NTHS members in the Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security career cluster with increased recognition and opportunities related specifically to their career cluster. #GIVINGTUESDAY - Support NTHS & Your Community
GivingTuesday is an international day of giving, celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.). Kicking off holiday charitable season, GivingTuesday is when many people across the country (and the world) put their time and energy into giving back to their communities and neighbors, both near and far.
If you know someone who is passionate about supporting students like you, who are pursuing the knowledge and skill they need for a successful career, ask them to consider contributing to the NTHS Jon H. Poteat Scholarship Fund this year. Their gift helps support scholarships NTHS members, just like you, across the country as they prepare to be the leaders of tomorrow’s workforce.
Giving Tuesday is also a great opportunity for you and your chapter to engaged in you community (virtually or physically). You can find some great ideas for how to give back with your time, talent, voice, kindness and more here.

NTHS Thanksgiving Hours
The national headquarters will be closed Wednesday, November 25 through Friday, November 27 so that staff can celebrate and give thanks with their families. We look forward to serving you when we return on November 30. We wish each of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!
