NTHS Relief Fundraising

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, we at the NTHS headquarters are incredibly grateful to report that our staff members are safe and on the road to restoring their homes. While our office sustained minimal damage, we have been working tirelessly to resume operations and get your orders back on track.
We deeply appreciate the patience, kind notes, and prayers we've received from our advisors and members during this challenging time. Your support has been invaluable as we navigate these circumstances.
Many of you have also reached out to ask how you can help, and we are pleased to announce the establishment of the NTHS Hurricane Relief Fund. This fund will be used to assist chapters who have been affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
To contribute to the NTHS Hurricane Relief Fund or find a list of other organizations supporting relief efforts, please visit our website.
For chapters needing assistance following the hurricanes, please visit the link to request aid or search for community partners in your area.

40 Years of NTHS
T-Shirt Design Contest: Ends Oct 31
|

ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT TO SUBMIT! 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of the founding of the National Technical Honor Society. This is your chance to showcase your students' talent and passion for NTHS. Read all the rules, but here's the basics:
- There's no entry fee, and the contest is open to all students and alumni NTHS members.
- The theme is 40 Years of NTHS - your design should celebrate the immense value of our amazing organization over the last 4 decades.
- Design should incorporate the NTHS logo and you may use up to three colors for your design.
- Design will be printed only on the front of a shirt color of your choice.

- Application Dates: October 1 - April 1
- Award Amount: $2,000
- Number Awarded: 5
- Eligibility Requirements: Open to current NTHS members who are currently studying and are committed to pursuing careers in construction-related disciplines.

Pearson’s Connections Academy Partners with the National Technical Honor Society to Enhance Career and Leadership Development for Students
Pearson (FTSE: PSON.L), and its Connections Academy, announced today a new partnership with the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), a nonprofit student organization focused on excellence in career and technical education (CTE). This collaboration provides students in Connections Academy-supported schools with exposure to technical fields through career and leadership development, service and scholarship opportunities, and recognition by post-secondary recruiters, including employers, colleges, and vocational institutions.
The partnership is critical because it will provide more direct pathways for students into the labor market. According to projections from the U.S. Department of Labor, the nation is facing significant demographic shifts, which will cause workforce shortages across a wide variety of industries in the coming decades. CTE in some of the most in-demand and well-paying areas of work – information technology, healthcare, manufacturing, engineering, logistics and key business roles – will give students a competitive edge and help businesses and regions address labor gaps. The opportunities for students enabled by the partnership between Connections Academy and NTHS are timely, as they align with the increasing demand for skilled professionals in these high-growth industries.
