Announcing The NTHS/TSA Scholarship!

We are thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership that will undoubtedly advance the mission of two organizations that are committed to empowering students in Career & Technical Education (CTE). NTHS is proud to join with the Technology Student Association (TSA) to create an outstanding scholarship opportunity for members of both organizations.
|
|
|
|
TSA, a respected national non-profit Career and Technical Student Organization, shares our vision and commitment to student success in CTE. Since its charter in 1978, TSA has engaged over 5,000,000 student members in STEM-related activities, competitions, leadership opportunities, and community service. Together, NTHS and TSA are poised to make an even greater impact on the lives of CTE students.
Introducing the NTHS/TSA Scholarship:
December 2023 marks the launch of the NTHS/TSA Scholarship, a unique opportunity for current members of both NTHS and TSA to further their education and pursue their dreams in the world of Career & Technical Education. This scholarship program aims to support the next generation of CTE leaders and innovators.

We invite all eligible members to apply for the NTHS/TSA Scholarship and take a step closer to realizing their educational and career aspirations. Together, we will continue to honor excellence, recognize achievement, and empower the incredible students and teachers in Career & Technical Education.

It's our pleasure to highlight Melody Gibson, a distinguished Gaston College NTHS advisor who has empowered her students on their educational journeys with her tireless commitment to recognizing those pursuing in-demand careers.
Ms. Gibson’s devotion to NTHS and CTE becomes abundantly clear through her two-year tenure as the advisor for the Gaston College NTHS chapter. She fervently advocates for students to acquire valuable skills and recognizes the significance of CTE in preparing students for fulfilling and high-demand careers.

Ms. Gibson’s infectious enthusiasm for CTE programs encourages students to actively participate, engage in hands-on learning experiences, and explore the myriad career pathways available to them. Her steadfast dedication to showcasing students’ achievements within CTE programs serves as an inspirational force, nurturing a profound sense of motivation and awareness among her students.
Ms. Gibson’s remarkable impact is further evidenced by the fact that not one but eight separate nominations were submitted in her favor for the NTHS Honor Roll. These heartfelt sentiments, shared by those who know her best, truly highlight the extraordinary work that Ms. Gibson has done at her school. Both students and colleagues alike sing her praises for her unwavering support and dedication. One of her students, Destiny Killian, who is part of the medical assisting program under Ms. Gibson’s tutelage, expresses, “She goes above and beyond for all her students.”
