Welcome back! We hope that your school year has begun smoothly and you are as excited as we are about the upcoming year in the National Technical Honor Society.
The NTHS Staff has been busy developing some exciting new resources for both NEW and ESTABLISHED Advisors that will help you run your chapters more effectively! Be sure to look out for the September 14th edition of eNews for the link to the new Quick-Start Guide.
Upcoming Scholarship Dates: The Jon H. Poteat Scholarship application opens up on September 1st, 2021. Check out our Scholarships page for more information.

Updated Website Features & Reminders |
Our updated website is now live. The website address remains as www.nths.org. Before you log in to the updated site for the first time, you will be prompted to create a password. Your user ID is still your current email address. Just click “Forgot Password” at the top and a link to create a password will be emailed to you.
ENHANCEMENTS FOR ADVISORS
You now have the ability to:
- Fully manage group uploads of new member nominees
- Extend deadline dates for nominees directly on registration page
- Access individual member application links to send to nominees
- View listing of all new orders in your portal

MEMBERSHIP TRANSFERS
If you have students transferring their NTHS membership from another school, please email Renee Frady. Membership transfers are free and we'll mail a new certificate to you for signature and distribution to your incoming member.

ADVISOR CHANGES
Are you leaving, retiring or changing NTHS advisors this year?
Email Carol Kaczmarek with the new advisor’s name and email address so we can ensure a smooth transition.
No need to submit a new charter application.

Congratulations, Jean!
This photo of Jean Chiriboga was taken at the Texas Restaurant Association Marketplace convention in San Antonio Texas on July 12. As a Culinary Arts teacher, Jean enjoyed this educational and fun event. Chef Big D (featured in the photo) was the season 19 winner on Hell's Kitchen and has appeared on other foodie shows, as well.
